In Memory

Dennis Jaeger

Dennis Jaeger crossed over the bridge from this earthly life to his Heavenly home on Sunday, March 01, 2015 at West Georgia Hospice.

He was born in Pierre, SD on September 23, 1942 to Wilbert and Ruth Jaeger. A celebration of his life will be held at Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home in Lagrange, Georgia on Wednesday, March 4th at 2 p.m. with Pastor Lamar Hardwick of New Community Church officiating. Family visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dennis served in the U. S. Navy for 20 years, during which time he made numerous Mediterranean cruises and one West-Pac cruise, and was stationed in Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia. He loved the aviation sheet metal mechanic work so much, he continued in the same field for the next 30 years. He retired from L-3 Communications as aviation inspector in Waco, Texas in 2011. The last chapter of his life was spent as domestic engineer to his wife Linda of almost 48 years. He was her chauffeur to travels of over 25,000 miles in her first year of retirement. After being Texans for 28 years, Dennis and Linda relocated to LaGrange, Georgia to be near family in 2014.

Dennis is leaving behind his loving and devoted wife, Linda Jaeger of Lagrange, sister Belinda Giddens and husband, Larry of Buford, Georgia. Also, sweet niece Sonja Jones and husband Bobby of Pine Mountain, Georgia, other nieces and nephews and dear cousins and many friends.

Linda Jaeger and Family

Our heart breaks for you and your family with the passing of your beloved husband and father.  We as a class were glad when you were able to meet in Gering after our last reunion.  I am very sorry I was not there but was elated to have communicated with both of you at that time.  I pray for peace and comfort  for you and your family, a contentment that comes from our Heavenly Father.  Gods richest blessing to each of you.
