2005 Message: Following graduation from GHS I joined the USAF and served nearly 5 years on active duty, traveling extensively in the US and far East. After discharge in 1965, I attended Scottsbluff College, then joined our family business and remained there until going to work for Scottsbluff Aviation in 1969 as the Torrington, WY airport manager, charter pilot and flight instructor. I remained in that position for about 2 1//2 years, then worked for a short time for an ophthamologist in Torrington. After that I went back into the family business until 1977 when I went to work for NE Public Power District at the Scottsbluff Power Plant where I spend the next 5 years as an operator. Then in 1982 I transferred to Cooper Nuclear Station in Brownville, NE as an operator. I was an operator a couple of years before transferring into engineering where I remained until retiring in 1998.
My wife, Sharon and I were married in 1967 and have two sons and three grandchildren. Our oldest son, Rob, and his wife and two sons live in Independence, MO. Our other son, Brad, his wife and daughter live in Warrensburg, MO.
My hobbies include motorcycle riding, flying and woodworking.
